Car Seat Safety
Bringing a newborn home from the hospital is one of life’s greatest joys, but it can be scary if you can’t afford the right car seat. The Macon County AOK Network responded by creating a loaner car seat program for low-income families. For ten dollars, the families of newborns can rent a brand-new car seat and keep it until they want to exchange it for a larger one. Now families can leave the hospital knowing that their precious cargo is safe.
